يبعد وادي بني خالد عن محافظة مسقط بحوالي 203 كيلومترا وهو أشهر أودية المنطقة الشرقية وهو يعد من الأودية العمانية الدائمة الجريان والذي جعل من شهرته بأنه يأتي على قائمة ذكر الأودية العمانية، وتكمن روعة هذا الوادي في وجود البرك المائية الكبيرة التي تتجمع وسط التكوينات الصخرية على مدار العام وهي أبرز مقومات الجذب السياحي لهذا الوادي حيث نجد أن معظم السياح يقضون معظم أوقات فراغهم حول هذه البرك الجميلة نتيجة لروعة الموقع المحيط بها، يالإضافة إلى ذلك يوجد في هذا الوادي كهف مقل الذي يعتبر أحد أكبر الكهوف في السلطنة ويعتبر من المزارات السياحية في هذا الوادي إلا أن زيارة الكهف تتطلب الكثير من العناء نتيجة للصعوبة التي تصادف السائح أثناء الدخول إليه، كما نجد كذلك في الوادي بعض العيون المائية الطبيعية مثل عين حمودة وعين الصاروج وعين دوة إضافة إلى ذلك قرية بضعة الجميلة التي تتميز هي الأخرى كأحد الأماكن السياحية في هذا الوادي

Perfume












Perfume is widely used among
Omani people, and various ones are sold in Oman. The perfume bottles of various glassworks are sold. There are shops that sells bottles with your favorite perfume which you can choose. It is possible to buy it with 3 - 10 Rials though it depends on the bottle. It is also a good idea to buy only the bottle for the souvenir . However, the high-quality perfume shops are at the city center etc. , and it does cost about 5 - 40 Rials. In addition, do not forget that Amouage as the most popular high class perfume. It costs about 40 - 70 rials. You can buy it at the city center and also at the sheave international airport. It is possible to buy at the factory too. The designs are - For women it is shape of mosque. For men it is shape of Khanjar









A Khanjar means a crescent dagger in English. It was a sword that People used to wear in the waist as a proof of adult male in old times in the gulf. It is a symbol of Oman and Khanjar was written in the national emblem on the top left. The replica ones are about 5 Rials. If it is a real thing, it is possible to buy it with 10 - 15 Rials in the souvenir shop.However, if it is a real, silver goods, it can cost more than 100 Rials. Please put it in the suitcase when you return home. Bringing into the airplane is strictly prohibited

Wadi Bani Khalid


Wadi Bani Khalid is a wadi about 203 km from Muscat, Oman. It is the best-known wadi of the Sharqiyah region. Its stream maintains a constant flow of water throughout the year. Large pools of water and boulders are scattered along the course of the wadi. As a geographical area, Wadi Bani Khalid covers a large swathe of low land and mountains.
Caves form some of the interesting features of this wadi. These include Kahf Maqal which is one of the Sultanate's underground chambers. However, reaching this cave takes a lot of effort and visitors should be prepared for the adventure. Springs of water are also common in this wadi. The springs of Ain Hamouda, Ain al Sarooj and Ain Dawwa, among others, are a blessing to the eye as one ventures along the wadis. The village of Badaa is a well-known tourist stop in the valley.
